They neither made an extreme LLM quality breaktrhoug nor delivered something that wasn't possible before. But managed to reshape the industry, frighten investors and the whole tech world.
I came across a thread summarizing the impact and how Deep Seek managed to shake the stock market, dipping NVidia by 17% in a single trading day.
